Subsequently, Vatican City State Law No. VIII, 1358 Diego ZalbideaREDC 78 (2021) 1357-1388, ISSN: 0034-9372of 11 July 2013, containing Supplementary Norms on Criminal Law Matters has reintroduced it. Finally, I analyzed briefly the recent reform of Book VI of the Code of Canon Law where this responsibility does not appear as it already happened in 1983.
