Lo fa a partire dalla recente lettera circolare del Ministero dell'interno della Repubblica italiana, del 20 febbraio 2024, e della relativa nota della Conferenza episcopale italiana del 21 febbraio, in cui vengono date indicazioni e forniti moduli con l'intento di fare chiarezza, e possibilmente semplificare, le procedure in tal senso. Tali procedure pongono però il problema, più pastorale che giuridico, di comprendere se in una determinata situazione concreta il numero delle parrocchie esistenti è corretto. A volte infatti il numero delle parrocchie è così elevato che anche il raggruppamento in unità pastorali non risulta più adeguato. Cercando quindi di contemperare istanze pastorali con attenzioni giuridiche vengono recuperate soprattutto alcune indicazioni date dall’istruzione della Congregazione per il clero La conversione pastorale della comunità parrocchiale al servizio della missione evangelizzatrice della Chiesa, del 29 giugno 2020. The article questions the criteria for identifying, modifying and possibly suppressing the parish entity in a given diocese or other ecclesiastical district, and thus the relationship between parish and territory. It does so starting from the recent circular letter of the Ministry of the Interior of the Italian Republic, dated 20 February 2024, and the related note of the Italian Bishops’ Conference dated 21 February, in which indications are given and forms provided with the intention of clarifying, and possibly simplifying, the procedures in this regard. However, these. procedures pose the problem, more pastoral than juridical, of understanding whether in a given concrete situation the numbeorf existing parishes is justified. Sometimes, in fact, the number of parishes is so large that even grouping them into pastoral units is no longer appropriate. Trying therefore to reconcile pastoral situations with juridical concerns, some of the indications given in the Congregation for the Clergy’s Instruction The pastoral conversion of the parish community at the service of the Church’s evangelising mission, of 29 June 2020, are particularly brought to attention. |
