Senza la coscienza di questa questione che ha attraversato tutta la storia bimillenaria della Chiesa, è alto il rischio di soluzioni e prospettive pregiudizievoli. The note is intended to alert readers to the basic point that runs through the many issues concerning the promotion of the role of the laity in the exercise of power in the Church today, namely the question of the origin and exercise of ecclesiastical power. Without awareness of this issue that has spanned the entire two-thousand-year history of the Church, the risk of prejudicial solutions and perspectives is high. |
