Résumé: | Freedom of religion or belief and the challenges of the “digital” era : Introduction to the panel topics · The advent of digital technologies and above all their use in the service of media globalization have brought about a real revolution also in the legal world, forcing the law to face new challenges, for which the regulatory authorities are not always able to be prepared. The purpose of this panel is to try to provide a broad-spectrum overview of how the impact of some new technologies is contributing to redefining the legal discipline of religious freedom and how the law is evolving in some more sensitive fields, without claiming to be exhaustive – there are many open questions – but with the minimum aim of identifying at least some transversal points for reflection. |
