| Summary: | The natural person, the legal persons and the family are treated together by the Legislator within First Book of the Civil Code. A single concept of legal subjectivity has been established. However, this has evolved over time through the entry of new institutions, among others: the new recognition procedures for legal persons, divorce, civil unions, the new patrimonial regime of the family, the adult adoption. This paper is aimed at tracing and analyzing the main changes that affected precisely First Book of the Code from a critical perspective, evaluating their appropriateness and the main guidelines followed by the Legislator. |
