Después de abordar unas breves notas sobre la noción de comunión en el Concilio Vaticano II y la terminología utilizada por el Código de 1983 se pone de manifiesto que la communio es una noción clave para definir la finalidad de la ley canónica y para comprender la estructura constitucional de la Iglesia. Por otra parte, la comunión subraya la dimensión eclesial de los derechos de los fieles y es criterio para su lectura e interpretación. Finalmente, la noción de comunión es trascendente para la fundamentación teológica del Derecho canónico. | ||

After dealing with some brief notes on the notion of communion in the Second Vatican Council and the terminology used by the 1983 Code, the article argues that communio is a key notion for defining the purpose of Canon Law and for understanding the Church’s constitutional structure. Communion also emphasises the ecclesiastical aspect of the rights of the faithful and is a criterion for its reading and interpretation. Lastly, the notion of communion is important for the theological basis of Canon Law. | ||
