This is done by recourse to publications in which "church communion" is understood as an exclusively Protestant model and "unity" as an exclusively Catholic model. In contrast, reflections of Wolfgang Thönissen are presented as ecumenically forward-looking, aiming at an integration of both models. Gpen questions that arise following Thönissen's reflections are formulated in conclusion. |
