Description
Résumé:From various directions recently favourable opinions were made heard about a certain analogy between the causes for the nullity of marriage in cases because of incapacity due to a psychological nature (can. 1095) and the causes of nullity of Sacred Ordination. The votum by H E. Mons. Giuseppe Sciacca, formulated for a case of nullity of the Sacred Ordination at the Congregationfor Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, authoritatively answers the mentioned requests, both in terms of the decision taken concretery in the case, and also through the arguments referring to probati auctores (trustworthy authors) and the concluding motivations. The clarity of the thought layout emerges also from the distinction made between the validity in Sacred Ordination and of nullity in the Profession of Religious Vows. There ensues a comment that further contextualizes the implications of such decision.
