I intend to attend a conference, sponsored by a recognized Catholic organization, in the Diocese of X. On the last of the five days of the conference, a concluding Mass will be celebrated and all priests have been asked to concelebrate. As a priest who agreed to concelebrate, I received the following questionnaire from the diocese for my superior to complete prior to my attending the conference and concelebrating the Mass. What is your canonical opinion of this requirement?" |
