Summary: | "A member of my religious institute has complained that I have violated his right to privacy. He was accused of sexual abuse of a minor and I put him on a leave of absence. He voluntarily agreed to undergo a psychological evaluation and just completed a residency program. He released these reports to me and to the Assistant Provincial. At a meeting of our Review Board to discuss his case, I passed out copies of these reports and collected them after the meeting. I judged the Review Board needed this information to make an informed recommendation to me. Have I violated Father's canonical right to privacy?" |
