| Zusammenfassung: | Parish Priest Evangelizing Action - Every believer in Christ, as member of the Church by virtue of baptism, has the duty and responsibility to proclaim the Gospel (cf. Can. 96). But the exercise of this responsibility is not the same for all the baptized people. Canons 756-759 of CIC indicate the the differnet degrees of responsibility in proclaiming the Gospel. Particularly, the function of proclaiming the Gospel has been entrusted to the parish priest (cf. Can. 528 §1). The issue of this modest contribution is the parish priest evangelizing action according to CIC Norms. Firstly and briefly, parish priest identify is considered; then his evangelizing action and the different kinds of Gospel proclamation; collaborators and all those evangelizing action is addressed to; lastly, as a conclusion and necessary consequence, the urgency and necessity of forming the ministers of Church to proclaim the Gospel. In this necessary and urgent evangelizing action, priests and parish priests are particularly commited as they play an absolutely irreplaceable evangelizer role |
