Descrição
Resumo:A question has arisen about a religious transferring from one religious community to another religious community. First, may a perpetually professed religious of a pontifical congregation community wishing to transfer to another pontifical congregation be required to live in the community ad quern before that community decides on the transfer. Second, what about the consequence of the religious living outside the institute in which she was professed contrary to canon 655 in the course of seeking to transfer to another pontifical congregation. We omit from our reply the case that would fall under canon 684, §3, i.e., with regard to members of autonomous monasteries who simply change community within the same federation or confederation.
