From the beginning the Church has meticulously fulfilled this mission. In these pages we provide a brief overview of the efforts the Church has made in the course of the centuries to preserve its documents (I) 1 ; following this, we will discuss the legislative decisions of the recently enacted Codex of 1983, comparing it to the Codex of 1917 (II) |
