| Whakarāpopototanga: | The Spain of the three cultures has had lights and shadows throughout the history of Spain and coexistence has not always been peaceful. In these discrepancies, religion and the conflicts between Christians, Muslims and, especially, the Jews have had a nuclear importance. As a consequence of this, and with the aim of achieving religious unity in the kingdom, different laws were passed in both civil and canonical jurisdiction. One of these crimes was blasphemy, which was sometimes used as an ideological weapon to appease dissidence and achieve religious unification both in the Visigothic kingdom and in the Crown of Castile La España de las tres culturas ha tenido luces y sombras a lo largo de la Historia de España y la convivencia no ha sido siempre pacífica. En estas discrepancias ha tenido una importancia nuclear la religión y los conflictos entre cristianos, musulmanes y, especialmente, los judíos. Como consecuencia de aquello y con el objeto de lograr una unidad religiosa en el reino se fueron articulando diferentes leyes tanto en el ámbito de la jurisdicción civil como eclesiástica. Uno de estos delitos fue la blasfemia siendo usado, en ocasiones, como arma ideológica para apaciguar las disidencias y lograr la unificación religiosa tanto en el reino Visigodo como en la Corona de Castilla. |
