Summary: | The canonical order does not offer its various subjects a "system" of protections; rather, it provides a disorganized set of procedures and processes, where the "matter" at hand does not play a sufficiently significant role with respect to the authors of the acts to be judged. This leaves extensive grey areas in which no protection may be obtained, a situation that will not improve until the "matter" is considered more significant than the litigants involved. Thus, the solution lies not in Tribunals ratione materiæ but in judgment ratione materiæ. |
