Résumé: | This paper takes its cue from the obligations that may arise for ecclesiastical institutions within the Italian system of administrative responsibility for crime ex d. lgs. 231/01, which frames the actions required in the broader context of the currently intensifying ecclesial commitment to the renewed centrality of the human person in secular legal systems and, especially, in criminal law. In a general way, albeit applied to the specificities of various contexts, the study aims to highlight the need to develop a greater degree of awareness of one’s own normative role and a capacity for more effective interactions among recipients of the law, thus ensuring that cooperation between state law and private self-regulation does not result merely in the intrusion of criminal law systems and defensive/sanctioning approaches on the daily lives of those involved in the institutions’ activities. |
