Di conseguenza, gli Statuti furono approvati solo dalle due istituzioni menzionate, ma non dalla Sede Apostolica. Il «cammino sinodale» si considera un forum per avviare e decidere «riforme» nella Chiesa. Tuttavia, gli argomenti di deliberazione superano in grande parte la competenza di una Chiesa particolare (il che e riconosciuto anche dai promotori). Allo stesso modo, secondo gli Statuti, le decisioni del «cammino sinodale» non sono vincolanti, ma devono essere adottate dai vescovi diocesani o dalla Conferenza Episcopale come loro atto legislativo. | 520 | |a At the end of 2019, a «synodal path» began for all German dioceses, which was agreed by the German Bishops' Conference and the Central Committee of German Catholics. In their view, this is a «process of its own kind» to which the provisions of the CIC on particular councils do not apply. Accordingly, the Statutes were only approved by the two above-mentioned institutions, but not by the Apostolic See. The «synodal path» sees itself as a forum to initiate and decide on «reforms» in the Church. However, the subjects of deliberation overwhelmingly exceed the competence of a particular church (something which is also conceded by the promoters). According to the Statutes, the decisions of the “synodal path” are not juridically binding; rather, they have to be implemented legislatively by the diocesan bishops or by the Bishops’ Conference. The article presents the current situation in Germany and explains the effect of the “resolutions” by means of a concrete example. | ||
