Σύνοψη: | Until the current reform of Book VI of the Code, the laws concerning the sexual abuse of minors and vulnerable persons were to be found in extra-codicial rules that governed both its definition and procedural aspects relating to punishment. A change in thinking in civil society and the Church as regards dealing with these offences means the focus is now on the care of the victims. The reform involves the explicit inclusion of the conceptual definition. The content of the new offences is explained, as well as their influence on other possible amendments to the Code. |
