Description
Summary:As a contribution to the yet-unwritten history of the existing Concordats between the Church and the Spanish State, the first ten reports required by the Papal Nunciature of Madrid, are presented in this article as a previous step to initiate the revision of the then existing Concordat of 1953. These were asked for to ten significant persons, mainly professors, who were kept anonymous as their authors. The most important and most characteristic in each one of them is remarked for the first time in this article. The contents of these reports are referred to at lenght for the first time as a valid sign of the Spanish thought, at that historical moment, about the past, the present and the future of the Church-State relationship in Spain
